<p>We currently seek a jr-intermediate software QA engineer with proven experience in a commerical software development environment</p>
<p>Responsibilities:<br />
1. Collaborate with developers and the QA Automation lead to create and maintain test plans from functional specifications.<br />
2. Represent QA in design, function requirements, code reviews, and architecture reviews.<br />
3. Review test plans and test scripts across Development and QA<br />
4. Work closely with developers to create and extend unit test cases and share test code.<br />
5. Participate in design reviews and static code inspections.<br />
6. Assist in test case design and test strategy for component testing utilizing application interfaces.<br />
7. Work closely with QA Automation and Performance Engineering teams to leverage and share methodologies across QA and Development departments</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications Required:</strong><br />
-Experience or demonstrated knowledge designing and building frameworks that support test development and its application in testing Java and/or C++ enterprise sw code incl web services, databases , etc, You must have experience testing commercial grade distributed WEB based software.</p>
<p>- Experience with designing and building automation frameworks<br />
- Demonstrated knowledge of QA test processes including test planning, development, execution, and results reporting for multiple projects.<br />
-Strong analytical, problem solving skills and technical troubleshooting.<br />
-Experience testing object oriented programming experience (Java, C++, C#) in a commercial application development environment.<br />
- Experience or understanding of architectural principles and frameworks<br />
Strong understanding of network architectures and experience with Windows hardware and s/w</p>

<li><em>You indicated that you currently have existing business process models and management systems in-house built on top of Java and this individual would be addressing integration issues, improved user interface, extensions, etc Just to make sure we are clear here, we actually have a number of commercial business systems (Netsuite as an example) and we have build some adapters, extensions <strong>on top</strong> of these commercial systems using Java.</em></li>
<li><em>you indicated that you currently are using NetSuite as a platform for your current BPM but there are some issues in regards to its ability to scale and to unify with other in-house systems which is why you built a layer on top which needs to be improved and maintained. Netsuite is the core business system, we have other systems (document management systems) that would require workflow modelling using BPM.</em></li>
<li><em>one of the biggest things I think we highlighted is how independently this individual will need to be able to interface effectively with other internal stakeholders to truly understand and evaluate the business problem they&#8217;re looking to solve and then to take ownership of developing a solution and executing so we really need to look for people with not only the base web application development skills but also for people that have the hots for taking ownership and being able to see the immediate impact of their work on the business and have the right soft skills to pull that off. Correct, people skills  (to be able to extract / refine his requirements) and self management are really important.</em></li>

<div>Ability to be a lead user interface developer on a fast-paced product development team. Must be proficient in AJAX, <strong>JQuery</strong>, and CSS. Participate in sprint planning and daily SCRUMs. Must be able to architect user interface solutions that implement reusable and efficient code that works in all common browsers.FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<p>* <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>UI</strong> developer responsible for architecting scalable and reusable solutions<br />

* Responsible for developing user interfaces that implement the business functionality of the products.</p>
<p>* Responsible for writing efficient and consistent user interfaces that follow best practices of user interface development</p>
<p>* Expert in CSS and ability to design interfaces from the ground up.</p>
<p>* Ability to mentor junior-level <strong>UI</strong> developers</p>
<p>* Must be able to develop in an environment that utilizes MVC.</p>
<p>* Work with the internal team on performing analysis and generating requirements, evaluate feasibility and technical alternatives, prioritize and generate deliverables</p>
<p>* Understanding of various technologies and ability to propose technology solutions</p>
<p>* Ability to implement and mentor others on software development best practices</p>
<p>* Responsible for performing code reviews of front end development.</p>
<p>QUALIFICATIONS</p>
<p>* Education: Bachelors Degree</p>
<p>*Experience: 7+ years of user interface development experience. Must have solid experience with AJAX, <strong>JQuery</strong>, and CSS.</p>
<p>*Photoshop or Illustrator experience is a big plus</p>
<p>Skills:</p>
<p>*Works well under general supervision in a team environment</p>
<p>*Detail-oriented and well organized.</p>
<p>*Problem-solver with good communication skills</p>

<p><strong><em>The Opportunity</em></strong></p>
<p>This is a great opportunity for a talented, drive, and creative User Interface (UI) developer looking to join an innovative and fast paced team. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team to develop a next-generation platform from the ground up using the latest technologies and frameworks.  As the senior developer, you will be taking a lead position on web development projects, which will include developing new features as well as enhancements to existing products in a 24x&amp;7 uptime environment. As well, you will be working closely with the development manager to coordinate development initiatives with other technical and non-technical teams. This is a hands-on developer role and you will be actively participating in all phases of the development process, including: analyzing and translating business and product requirements into technical specifications, designing and implementing software support modules, and providing supporting documentation.</p>
<p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities:</em></strong></p>
<p>-          Design and implement mission-critical web/UI applications that are highly scalable, usable, extensible, and maintainable<strong><em> </em></strong></p>
<p>-          Produce web pages with clean, standards-compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript<strong><em> </em></strong></p>
<p>-          Collaborate with the UI/Graphics Designer, UX Designer, and Product Management on feature prioritization, design, and implementation<strong><em></em></strong></p>
<p>-          Write unit tests and work collaboratively with QA on their UI test plans<strong><em></em></strong></p>
<p>-          Mentor junior-level software engineers<strong><em></em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>Qualifications:</em></strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience with software development practices and techniques. Any experience in an agile development environment is a plus. You will be working in a collaborative environment with local and remote teams. Therefore, the ability to work well within a team is essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required, as is the ability to solve complex problems and bring new, innovative ideas to the table.</p>
<p><strong><em>We are looking with an individual with the following key skills: </em></strong></p>
<p>-          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Masters degree is preferred. <strong><em></em></strong></p>
<p>-          3+ years scripting experience with JavaSAcript, JSON-based asynchronous APIs<strong><em></em></strong></p>
<p>-          3+ years experience with one or more JavaScript library (YUI, Dojo, Ext JS, jQuery, etc.)<strong><em></em></strong></p>
